The 3 day Sahara Desert tour begins with an early pick-up from your accommodation or the airport in Fes. We drive south through Imouzzer, visiting Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine-style houses and cool climate. Next, explore the cedar forest, home to Barbary Macaques—feel free to feed them as you wander. Lunch will be served in Midelt. We then continue toward the Sahara Desert, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz River.

In the afternoon, arrive at the Merzouga Sahara Desert, where you’ll switch to camels for a ride across the sandy dunes. Enjoy a stunning sunset from a high dune before heading to the luxury desert camp. Experience Berber drums and dance around the campfire under the starry sky. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise in the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, return by camel to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting. Spend the day exploring the Merzouga region, which offers a variety of incredible sites including sand dunes, a wild lake, ancient mines, fossil areas, and beautiful oases.

Start by visiting an ancient eyeliner mine on an off-road adventure. Next, visit the nomads in their traditional woven tents and experience their lifestyle over a cup of Berber tea. Continue to Khamlia village to enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances by residents from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant, then take a stroll through a palm grove before driving to the wild lake of Merzouga, also known as Flamingos Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
